Coffee Cupping with Relative Coffee

Relative Coffee Roasters will be joining us for a guided cupping session at Plant Folk. It is a chance to explore their thoughtful and relationship driven approach to coffee. Founded in 2022 by Samuel J. Chin, Relative is built on connection and a deep respect for quality. With over eight years in coffee and credentials that include Q Grader and double SCA Diplomas, Samuel brings both experience and heart to every roast.

During the session you will be guided through the same process coffee professionals use to taste and evaluate coffee. Together we will explore aroma, flavour and texture across a line up of Relative’s coffees. Each cup reflects their belief that while taste is personal, coffee has a way of bringing people together.

It will be an easygoing and engaging session whether you are new to cupping or already familiar with it. Light refreshments will be provided and there will be time to chat with Samuel about his approach to sourcing, roasting and building connections through coffee.
